I think best way to check room rate will be making a call

To be honest with you, I have been to Melaka and I seen the rate on the website so I called the hotels to confirm. I find out that the room rate is cheaper if you called up to make reservation. I do not know if this apply on all hotels, you can find out and let me know.

As I know the room rate I got is cheaper and it was a peak season too. But when I was at the hotel I was told that I need to pay extra $50 because its peak season. Immediately I was not happy at all, lucky the Manager is there and told his staff that since I made the reservation by phone with that rate.
